Radish Jar

Once used as storage urns for spices and herbs in old Chinese times, these vessels were then coined “Ginger Jars” when they were imported to Europe. Painted with Famille pattens with double happiness Chinese characters in focus, these jars are a lovely addition to the antique furnished homes as decor, or perhaps its forgotten purpose as a storage jar.
