At Lim’s Holland Village, we’re big fans of inlay craft as we admire the sheer amount of detail that goes into each piece. An artisanal skill passed down from generations, every fragment visible to the eye is hand-carved from mother of pearl into specific shapes, laid precisely onto specific spots, then filled with a resin background. The result is an eye-catching puzzle of intricate patterns and geometric forms that are always one-of-a-kind due to the iridescence colour from the mother of pearl used.

All of our inlay pieces are constructed from sustainably sourced mother of pearl and resin.
